Go-NOGo Quick Start Guide: How to Test Scuba Tanks for CO

TESTING SCUBA TANKS WITHOUT THE APP (Standalone Mode)

  1. Remove your Go-NOGo device from its storage box
  2. Plug in USB-C plug into a USB powerbank or USB-C mobile device
  3. Wait for powerup sequence
    • Device will play ‘success’ tone when ready
  4. Device should display Carbon Monoxide (CO) reading in parts per million (PPM)
  5. Hold device, or secure using bungee strap against a tank valve
  6. Gently open the tank valve until you hear hissing, the GREEN LED should flash slowly
    • If GREEN LED flashes FAST, and there is a BEEPING sound, close the valve slightly (as there is too much gas)
  7. Wait for the GREEN LED to stop flashing
  8. The gas measurement is displayed on the device screen

USING Go-NOGo WITH LAUNCH APP (Smart Mode)

  1. Remove your Go-NOGo device from its storage box
  2. Plug in USB-C plug into a USB powerbank or USB-C mobile device
  3. Wait for powerup sequence
    • Device will play ‘success’ tone when ready
  4. Device should display Carbon Monoxide (CO) reading in parts per million (PPM)
  5. Open the Go-GONo Launch app, on your mobile device
  6. Press the Bluetooth button in the middle of the screen
    • Select your Go-NOGo from the list of nearby devices
  7. Hold device, or secure using bungee strap against a tank valve
  8. Wait for device to connect to the app, the pressure, temperature, DEW point, & CO reading will appear on the screen 
  9. Gently open the tank valve until you hear hissing, the GREEN LED should flash slowly
    • If GREEN LED flashes FAST, and there is a BEEPING sound, close the valve slightly (as there is too much gas)
  10. Wait for the GREEN LED to stop flashing
  11. The gas data will be displayed on your mobile device screen, and you will see a confirmation message
