Go-NOGo Device Setup and Operation
POWERING ON YOUR CO DETECTOR
Plug the USB-C plug into either a USB powerbank or a mobile device, to power on your G0-NOGo device. It will display a progress bar as it tests all its internal components. You will hear a ‘success’ tone once the device has started successfully.
UNDERSTANDING DISPLAY READINGS
By default, the display will show the Carbon Monoxide (CO) reading in parts per million (PPM). However if it detects any issues with internal components it will display a warning message on the display. In this situation you should contact your Go-NOGo dealer.
Tap the Up or Down icon to manually adjust the O2 cell (if fitted) offset to achieve the desired oxygen percentage reading for air. WARNING : adjusting this value will affect the displayed oxygen percentage when measuring nitrox, and could result in harm or personal injury.
LED INDICATOR MEANINGS FOR GAS TESTING
The unit has a RED and GREEN led, below is a list of LED meanings:
- FLASHING GREEN – booting up
- GREEN – all ok
- RED – DEW point exceeded (moisture in air)
- FLASHING RED – Carbon Monoxide detected

MAIN TAB : Auto-Tune and Manual Adjustment
AUTO TUNE
Tap the Magic Wand icon to start the auto-tune process. The app will adjust the offset of the O2 cell (if fitted) to achieve 20.95% oxygen (percentage of oxygen in normal air).
UP / DOWN
Tap the Up or Down icon to manually adjust the O2 cell (if fitted) offset to achieve the desired oxygen percentage reading for air. WARNING: adjusting this value will affect the displayed oxygen percentage when measuring nitrox, and could result in harm or personal injury.
CALCULATE TAB : Best Mix Calculator for Nitrox
BEST MIX CALCULATOR
Enter your Target Operating Depth and tap the View icon, or enter your Maximum Operating Depth and tap the View icon. The app will calculate the best mix and show the TOD / MOD as needed.
HISTORY TAB : Tracking Gas Test Results
CLEAR DATA
Tap Clear, to delete all your existing measure history. NOTE : once deleted this data cannot be recovered!
SORTING
Tap the 1~9 icon to sort the history from oldest to newest by measurement date, or tap the 9~1 to view the measurement history from newest to oldest by date.
EDIT DATE
Offline measurements made by the device do not have dates. Tap the Edit icon to select a measurement date and save.
REPORT
If you have a CO measurement above your selected limit (see DEW & CO), a REPORT button will appear on that entry. Tap the button and complete the details (name & email are optional) to share the details to our server. We ONLY make this data available to organizations like Divers Alert Network (DAN) or training agencies, on request.
SETTINGS TAB : Bluetooth and Device Configuration"
BLUETOOTH LINKING
First time use : Select your Go-NOGo from list, and tap to link.
Afterwards, your Go-NOGo device will auto connect with the app.
If you’d like to change device, go to Settings and tap ‘Un-Link’ and you’ll be asked to link to a new Go-NOGo device.
WARNING SOUNDS
Tap the Bell icon, to temporarily (until power disconnected) mute the device & app warning sounds. Press and Hold to mute/unmute permanently (even after re-booting).
DISPLAY MODE
Tap the Hat icon, to switch between Beginner / Advanced mode. In Beginner mode, the main screen will just show you tick or cross for the parameters as advice on their state. In Advanced mode, actual values will be shown for you to make a more informed decision. The mode will not affect the warning levels.
FIND MY DEVICE
Tap the Mega-phone icon, and your device will show a message on the display and beep for 15 seconds. This is to help identify the connected device, if there are multiple devices.
DEW & CO
Tap these icons, to set the warning limits for your device and app. You are able to select between CGA (US standards) & EN (European standards), additionally for DEW point you can set a custom minimum water temperature.
CALIBRATE
Tap the Scales icon, to open the Calibration page. Tap ‘CALIBRATE’ to calibrate the appropriate sensor. For CO calibration you will need access to 2 gases with a known amount of Carbon Dioxide. For O2 calibration you will need access to pure oxygen.
WARNING : Calibrating the device incorrectly will result in incorrect readings which could cause harm or personal injury. If in doubt contact a Go-NOGo dealer for advice.
EXPORT DATA
Tap the Download icon, will open your devices share menu allowing you to share the stored measurement data in the form of a CSV file.
SYSTEM SETTINGS
ALPHA VALUE
The ‘alpha value’ is used to help smooth sensor data from the device. If you find your CO(alpha1) or O2(alpha2) readings are jumping about too much, you can change the value by going to SETTINGS and tapping the Spanner icon at top left. Change the value and tap the SAVE icon, increasing the value, towards 1.0 will make the reading jump less; decreasing the value, towards 0.0 will make the reading jump more.
RENAME DEVICE
Go to SETTINGS, and tap the Spanner icon at top right.
Enter the new device name in the box, and tap Save. Your device will now show its new name, this is the displayed name and does not affect its Bluetooth connection.
FIRMWARE UPDATE
Go to Settings and tap the Spanner icon, then tap the Update button, and the app will check if a new version of firmware is available on our server. If found, it will download and install it on your device. NOTE: Do NOT disconnect power while updating the firmware or damage to the device may occur.
