Go-NOGo Quick Start Guide: How to Test Scuba Tanks for CO
TESTING SCUBA TANKS WITHOUT THE APP (Standalone Mode)
- Remove your Go-NOGo device from its storage box
- Plug in USB-C plug into a USB powerbank or USB-C mobile device
- Wait for powerup sequence
- Device will play ‘success’ tone when ready
- Device should display Carbon Monoxide (CO) reading in parts per million (PPM)
- Hold device, or secure using bungee strap against a tank valve
- Gently open the tank valve until you hear hissing, the GREEN LED should flash slowly
- If GREEN LED flashes FAST, and there is a BEEPING sound, close the valve slightly (as there is too much gas)
- Wait for the GREEN LED to stop flashing
- The gas measurement is displayed on the device screen
USING Go-NOGo WITH LAUNCH APP (Smart Mode)
- Remove your Go-NOGo device from its storage box
- Plug in USB-C plug into a USB powerbank or USB-C mobile device
- Wait for powerup sequence
- Device will play ‘success’ tone when ready
- Device should display Carbon Monoxide (CO) reading in parts per million (PPM)
- Open the Go-GONo Launch app, on your mobile device
- Press the Bluetooth button in the middle of the screen
- Select your Go-NOGo from the list of nearby devices
- Hold device, or secure using bungee strap against a tank valve
- Wait for device to connect to the app, the pressure, temperature, DEW point, & CO reading will appear on the screen
- Gently open the tank valve until you hear hissing, the GREEN LED should flash slowly
- If GREEN LED flashes FAST, and there is a BEEPING sound, close the valve slightly (as there is too much gas)
- Wait for the GREEN LED to stop flashing
- The gas data will be displayed on your mobile device screen, and you will see a confirmation message
